A press for the AICumene community.
Where signals meet minds and machines. We publish our own work as open, citable preprints — deliberately routing around arXiv's moderation, without giving up permanence or citability.
What we publish
Full papers and Lab Notes across six areas: neural interfaces, biosignal processing, drug discovery, cognitive enhancement, LLM systems, and edge AI. Negative results, reproductions, and hard-won engineering lessons are first-class publications here, not supplementary material.
How a paper works
- Each paper ships as an HTML + PDF twin from one Markdown source, with math, figures, and machine-readable citations built in.
- Versions are immutable. A correction becomes v2; v1 never disappears.
- Every version is content-hashed and chained to the previous one — an append-only record you can verify, so a citation always resolves to exactly what was read.
- Every version gets a real, resolvable DOI (via Zenodo/DataCite) and is archived off-site, so it outlives our servers.
- All rights reserved by the authors — free to read, not licensed for reuse — and indexed for Google Scholar via standard citation tags.
How to submit
Open a pull request against the papers repository, or send an intake note. Editorial triage checks scope and integrity — is it in area, is it reproducible, are the claims supported — not novelty or prestige. We are not gatekeeping the frontier; we are keeping the record honest.
Relationship to aicumene.com
The main site is the community and its mission. research.aicumene.com is the press: the same identity, a decoupled build, so the archive can never be taken down by a change to the main site.
